Day 4

Penang to Langkawi

Awaking in kind of a sluggish mood at 9:00am, we checked out of the hotel and hopped on the ferry to Langkawi Island from Frank Swettenham Pier. About 3 hours later, were arrived to our next destination, Langkawi Island. We checked into The Eagle Bay Hotel located in the heart of Kuah, Langkawi’s town center, this is where we spent the next 2 nights.

In the afternoon we visited Langkawi’s biggest park, Taman Legenga. Taman Legenga is an open air museum spread across 50 acres. It is free for visitors to come explore the grounds that are devoted to the legacy of myths and legends of Langkawi. Like other parks, this one too, has a stretch of flowers, shrubs and fruit trees along pathways and ponds.

It was a warm and relaxing afternoon followed by a warm and relaxing evening in Langkawi Island!
